Techtronic Sound started in August of 2005, and has been decided since then in bringing the best Trance, Dance, and Techno music by Independent Artists.  With the rise of the big corporation record companies, their were a lot of great Artists that couldn't be heard due corporate requirements, so these independent artists started taking their music out into the land by themselves hoping that they might be heard to the general public.  As communication increased these artists found various ways to bring their music to the world.  With sites such as garageband.com, and isound.com, and others they have found their portal to the world distribution of their music.  Now with the development of podcasting the artists now have a greater chance for their music to be heard around the world.

My name is John Van Horn, and I'm the host of Techtronic Sound.  I'm very proud that this show is a non-profit organization that it's only purpose is connecting artists with people who want to hear this music.  I love this music, and I know others love it too, so I created Techtronic Sound.  Now because you have read thus far into this boring explanation about this podcast I'm going to tell you why it's called Techtronic Sound.   Techtronic is broken up into Tech for Techno and technology, and tronic for electronic which is the base for all of the music played on the show.  Sound was added for clarification that it wasn't a technology show, but a music show.

Techtronic Sound is also associated with Freedom for Independent Music Radio.  If you listened to the show, and wondered what it was here’s your explanation.  I listen to a lot of music podcasts, and many of them are part of various music organizations.  All of them are great, but I wanted to be associated with something that complements the independence of the artists, and this podcast.   Thus I created a saying "Techtronic Sound is associated with the Freedom for Independent Music Radio.  Let the freedom ring."  If you would like to be a part of this association...well then just say it!  There is no signing up, no organization, no badges, no nothing, it’s just a saying for those who would like to be known for their independence of creating and broadcasting music.

Enjoy the show, and please let me know if you have any further comments about the podcast, or podcasting in general
